The bar holds.
Round after round.
In our latest EA round, 7% of candidates earned a ‘Strong Yes’. The bar is calibrated to what actually separates the best EAs in the market, and it doesn’t move to fit the field.
The two competencies that separated them were commercial acumen and thinking ahead. Both are what the market rewards at the top. Both are hard to read in an interview. The assessment measures both.
We also watch how candidates behave between rounds. How they follow up. How they handle a brief that shifts. How they behave when nothing is being scored. It usually tells us more than the interviews do, and the best behave the same either way.
